At Still Waters, we are dedicated to providing professional and compassionate support for anyone experiencing life’s challenges and changes.

Whether you or your child are going through a season of change, grief and loss, caring for someone you love, or living with chronic illness or disability, we are here to support you.

We are committed to meeting you and your family where you are at, with an approach grounded in clinical integrity, compassion, lived exeperience and trauma-informed care.

We provide a safe, nurturing and non-judgemental space where you can feel seen, heard and validated.

At Still Waters, we walk alongside you and your family to restore hope, discover meaning, build courage and support your wellbeing.

    How Still Waters Can Help

    What You Can Expect

    At Still Waters, we aim to provide a calm, welcoming, and supportive space where you can talk openly about what you are experiencing without fear of judgement.

    Each session is a time set aside just for you, and your child —a chance to pause from the demands of everyday life, breathe, and gently explore the challenges you are facing at your own pace.


    During our sessions, you can expect:

    Adele has over 30 years experience as a qualified and registered Occupational Therapist and Counsellor. Her lived experience of grief and loss and raising a son with a disability, brings compassion and understanding to walk alongside you beside the Still Waters to embrace hope and healing. 

    Adele also has many years of experiencence working with those who identlify as neurodivergent, including Autism, ADHD and Dyslexia.

    There is no pressure to have all the answers or to know exactly where to begin.  It is a collaborative process, and we move at a pace that feels most comfortable for you and your family. 

    Still Waters is a registered counselling service based on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.
